This Manu Reserved Zone 6-day trip begins in Cusco, we pass through Paucartambo and enter the jungle where we observe species such as spectacled bear and cock-of-the-rock. During the way to enter the Reserved Zone we will observe a large number of species including birds, mammals and reptiles. In Cocha Otorongo we will enjoy the wildlife of Manu, we will see white caimans and turtles, as well as ronsocos, we will see more species from an observation tower. We head towards Cocha Salvador where, aboard catamarans, we will observe giant otters and several species of monkeys. In the Salvadorcillo Creek we will see macaw clay licks.

DAY 1: Cusco (3,300 m.a.s.l.) – Cloud Forest (1,700 m.a.sl.) – Pilcopata Inn Lodge (600 m.a.s.l.)
We leave Cusco very early in the morning Time: 5:30-6:00a.m. Pick up from the hotel in our comfortable bus. On the way we visited the funerary towers or Chullpas of Ninamarca at 3750meters above sea level and a brief visit to Paucartambo, a folkloric town, a colonial bridge. We ascend to the upper area of Paucartambo. Acjanaco is the highest point at 4000meters above sea level. Then we descend through the mysterious cloud forest, which is home to a great variety of flora and fauna full of beautiful orchids, heliconias and primitive ferns. We take a walk to appreciate the Cock of the Rock (Rupícola peruviana) in the mating ritual. There is also the possibility of observing Trogons (Trogón sp.), Quetzales, monkeys and the only bear in South America, the spectacled bear (Tremarctos ornatus). In the afternoon we will arrive at our HOSTEL, in Pilcopata (550 meters above sea level) in our typical hostel in the area with hot water in the showers and private bathroom (manu reserved zone).

DAY 2: Pilcopata – Atalaya – Boca Manu (300 m.a.s.l.) - Cocha Otorongo
After the delicious breakfast we continued our trip 45 minutes by bus to Puerto de Atalaya. On the way we observed coca plantations and fruit trees and orchids. We embarked on a motorized boat along the Alto Madre de Dios River. On the way we could see a great variety of birds, such as herons, kingfishers and always the presence of vultures of which the most spectacular is the jungle condor, the king of vultures (Sarcoramphus papa) and the Jaguar (Pantera Onca) we have a stop in Boca Manu ( 280 m.a.s.l.) and then a brief stop at the park ranger control (LIMONAL SURVEILLANCE POST). The boat ride continues and one begins to realize why Manu is so famous, because of his wildlife. On the banks of the river you can see groups of turtles, white caimans (Caiman cocodrylus) or perhaps some ronsocos (Hydrochoerus, hydrochaeris) and many more. In the afternoon we arrive at our safari camp in Cocha Otorongo (250 meters above sea level) (double beds inside platforms) shortly after we organize a walk to visit the lake and the 30-meter observation tower from where we have the opportunity to observe the river lions, turtles and birds. Here in Manu the animals have never suffered hunting persecution by men. Night in a safari camp on platforms with roofs, double beds with mosquito net. Shared showers and bathrooms.

DAY 3: Cocha Otorongo - Cocha Salvador (395 m.a.s.l.) - Manu Reserved Area
Today the group visits Cocha Salvador, which is located 30 minutes from Cocha Otorongo. Today they explore walking within the virgin primary forest. We visit the lake to row silently on a catamaran that gives us the possibility of observing the river wolves again and a great variety of strange birds, the sultana cockerel (Porphyrula Martinica or the Agamí Heron ( Agamia) and monkeys of different species, almost certainly 9 species are observed. Later we walk on the main trails with the guide to learn the functioning and secrets of the tropical forest. In the afternoon we return to our camp in Cocha Otorongo. DAY 4: Reserved area manu - Machiguenga Hunting - Boca Manu tour
Very early in the morning tour reserved, the group will visit the macaw clay lick located in Quebrada Salvadorcillo, then we return along the MANU River OBSERVING BIODIVERCITY AT BOCA MANU, brief visit to Cocha Brasco to observe giant otters. NIGHT IN HOSTEL. With bathrooms and showers.

DAY 5: Boca Manu - Tour Manu Lodge
We continue back by boat along the Alto Madre de Dios River. On the way we once again have the option of seeing many birds and, with great luck, animals manu. In the afternoon we are arriving at our Paititi hostel. We spent the night at the hostel. Private showers and bathrooms available. DAY

DAY 6: Amazon Manu Lodge – Cusco
This day is very sad since we have to leave our wonderful jungle full of mysteries and return by boat to Atalaya, then we are transported by bus to Cusco. On the way we will be able to observe the Cloud Forest again, with an immense variety of flora and fauna. Tour Manu Cultural Zone 3D

We will depart from Cusco very early in the morning in one of our vehicles. We will traverse beautiful valleys between the Andes Mountains and picturesque countryside communities.

We will eat breakfast very early and then take a walk, during which we will be able to observe the fauna of the forest, such as monkeys and birds. Then, we will visit a coca plantation and a wildlife rescue center.
