Joining the parrot project team means assuming a responsibility for and commitment to the environment. Our work requires recognizing the problem and looking for solutions through the reforestation of native plants and active work for the conservation and development of this area.
The world views the Park as one of the great lungs of humanity, associated with impressive biodiversity. Here, social factors and cultural richness have gained special importance, and one can contribute to the conservation of the area while gaining personal enrichment. Our program offers stays of 1 week, 15 days, or 1, 2, or 3 months in Manu, in the high jungle or the low jungle. (Those wanting a longer stay or looking for specific experiences should coordinate with the institution on a case by case basis.)
Within this program there is social support to the surrounding towns in the private area of Manu, such as Atalaya and Salvacion. This social support includes giving talks about environmental awareness and its importance for maintaining balance in nature as well as English courses in the Superior Public Institute of Manu.
